Just one day after a nine-year-old boy committed suicide by hanging himself at Gangoo Creek, East Bank Berbice, another person from the area has now committed suicide.Dead is Doodnauth Ramjattan, 55, a farmer of Plegt Anker, East Bank Berbice. The incident occurred some time between 09:00 hrs and 11:00 hrs yesterday. Relatives say he was depressed about his poor health – not being able to do much – and took the opportunity to kill himself while he was alone at home.
